friends, here is the review of today's (14-07-2013) NICL (National Insurance Company Ltd) Assistants Exam (Morning Shift) .The overall paper was easy. It was just a mixture of SSC and Bank Clerical Level.
Important point you should keep in mind is there are very less questions from Current Affairs. They mainly asked questions from General Knowledge (approximately 92% questions from General Knowledge and 8% are from Current Affairs). The general awareness section was almost similar to SSC (of course the difficulty level was low. Questions asked from Chemistry, Geography, Economy and Science, Basic Gk like places etc).
English and Reasoning sections were very easy when compared to other sections.
There is no passage type questions in English. All are of Basic Grammar.no insurance terms. questions from trigonometry too. basic and fundamental questions on Computer. 2 word arrangements and 5 sentence arrangement questions in Eng.
Reasoning was very easy but little time consuming.
Aptitude section was moderate. Some questions are from areas and volumes. 2 Questions are from Data Interpretation.
Computer Knowledge section was also easy. They mainly focused on the basics and history of computers
Concentrate more on GK.
