Different areas of C-DAC, had originated at different times, many of which came out as a result of identification of opportunities.
Job Description :
Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC),invited applications for the post of Associate Directors
1. Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), is a Scientific Society of the Department of Information Technology,
2. Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India.
3. C-DAC’s areas of expertise range from R&D work in Foundation Technologies to Product Development,
4. IP Generation, Technology Transfer and Deployment of Solutions in various sectors directly or through partnership model.
5. Primary Thematic or Thrust Areas addressed by C-DAC are: High Performance Computing and
6. Grid Computing; Language Computing & Speech Processing; Computer Science & Software
7. Technologies including Free & Open Source Software; Professional Electronics including VLSI & Embedded Systems;
8. Cyber-Security and Cyber Forensics; Health Informatics; and Education and Training.
Educational Qualificaton:
1. 1st Class B.E./B.Tech./MCA/or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/ Telecommunications or
2. Related fields from a recognized University with atleast 16 years of post qualification experience in the relevant area.
3. Post-Graduation in Engineering / Technology (e.g. M.E./M.Tech.) in Computer Science / Electronics / Electrical / Telecommunications or
4. Related fields from a recognized University with minimum 14 years of post qualification experience in the relevant area.
